The Waiting Game

I'm sick of the waiting game. Let's play Hungry, Hungry Hippos! (10 points to the first person who identifies the source of that quotation. Double points if you can also identify the episode it was in).

In non-waiting news, here's an update on my thesis progress:

a a draft of chapter 1 (I'd say about 80% done -- need to do some small revisions on part of it, and a major rearrangment of one section)
a final version of chapter 2
a draft of chapter 3 (99% done -- just need to take a colour photograph of one of my slides & waiting to hear back from the author of another paper that I have emailed a question)
a draft of chapter 4 (I'd say about 85% done -- mostly just need to do some slight rearrangments)

My goal is to have drafts of chapters 1, 3 and 4 in to my supervisor by the end of this week. I also have a big pile of exams to mark (boo!), but I think I can do it (well, chapter 3 is ready to go back to her for sure and chapter 4 won't take too long... chapter 3 might not get done until after next weekend, but I'm gonna try for the end of this week).

Waiting sucks. I never liked those dirty no-good whores from Stanford.

McGill on the other hand, those are some good people.
